It has been far too long.
Do you have any bookish topics you’re itching to discuss? Or do you have any recent book blog posts or book-related articles to recommend to me? Please let me know!

I think everything I say in this video also applies to Bookstagram and bookish accounts on Tumblr (Booklr? Is that a thing?) and probably also Facebook and much of the book blogging community. Do you see the problems I mentioned? What is your approach to book buying vs. borrowing? Do you prefer to buy only new books?

Here are just a few of the ideas for National Library Week I’ve come up with so far.
How do you plan to celebrate?

Here is a brief summary of my reading and posting last month, and a quick peek at my plans for the month ahead!
What did you read last month? Did you discover any new favorites? And what are your bookish plans for April?

For the uninitiated, Booktube tag videos are a kind of game: someone will make up a tag – the Booktube Secrets Tag, the Booktube Newbie Tag – which consists of a series of questions. Then various people get tagged to film a video in which they answer these questions. This is my first tag video…
I have some ideas for original tags, which may show up in the future, and may be (a little?) more practical…? We’ll see. Expect a review of Dove Arising soon!

Thinking out loud about the impossibility of ever reading everything I want to! Depressing, I know.

This video is the first in a new series, in which I’ll highlight picture books with morbid, twisted, or just offbeat humor. I may also include other picture books which are not dark, just especially wonderful in various ways, but I want to mostly focus on the weird ones.
I was inspired to start this series after talking with a dear friend of mine who used to work in the children’s room of her public library. I mentioned Flat Rabbit, and she told me about another offbeat picture book, and then another. We had so much fun discussing them that I was inspired to look for more weird picture books, and then to share them with you.
